2008 : Chi Minh PHAM, its founder is powerless to do anything about the care interruptions suffered by his mother, who has become daily dependent on home care services.
2011 : an official study conducted by a local authority confirmed that home‑care providers failed to deliver an average of 40% of scheduled visits. Even more concerning, providers showing failure rates of 59% or even 73% were still considered to be operating “normally” within the sector.
2013 : The platform goes online, open to beneficiaries and families, supported by autonomous caregivers. Providers oppose the platform’s use, its independent oversight of care interruptions, its direct notifications to beneficiaries, and the continuity of care ensured by autonomous caregivers.
2016 : After three years of developing the protocol between beneficiairies and caregivers, the YouTime company was created to offer local authorities services including : real-time oversight of care interruptions, notifications for beneficiairies, and replacement with certified autonomous caregivers. These activities are automated through the digitalization of the relationship between beneficiairies and caregivers.
2020 : YouTime has proposed to measure the care deprivations exacerbated by lockdowns, and to mobilize vaccinated autonomous caregivers, in vain.
December 2022 : After seven years of unsuccessful attempts to gain traction with French local authorities, the French company YouTime has been dissolved. Free access for beneficiairies and autonomous caregivers has been closed.
2026 : the platform is internationalized, offered to governments, local authorities and providers worldwide, through new YouTime companies. CareContinuity.eu displays on a map the rates of missed visits and successful plan B for each local authority, provided by YouTime.
